Family Life and Asthma Project. This project aims to examine fmaily factors that promote medical adherence in children with asthma and how family beliefs affect child adjustment to a chronic illness.
Chronic Environmental Stress and Child Adjustment. This project aims to examine family routines that may protect children from the harmful effects of chronic environmental stress (noise) and parent work stress.
Family Heritage Project. This longitudinal study of 120 families examines how family routines and storytelling changes from preschool to early school years. In out follow-up study we focus on family routines that promote academic achievement, gender differences in family storytelling, and family process factors related to child mental health.
