College Students? Religiosity/Spirituality and Health:
Two projects are underway that are designed to investigate links between college students? religiosity/spirituality and their engagement in health-related behaviors.
Daily Spiritual Experiences and Cardiovascular Function:
In this study research subjects wear an ambulatory blood pressure monitor and complete questionnaires by personal hand-held computers throughout the day. This study will help us learn more about links between daily spiritual events, stress, and ambulatory blood pressure.
Spirituality and Cardiovascular Reactivity to Stress
I have an on-going interest in how spirituality may influence cardiovascular reactivity to stress. A laboratory study with an ambulatory blood pressure component is currently underway to further investigate these phenomena.
