CHB Seminar Series, Fall 2009

The Center is an All-University Center committed to facilitating and supporting funded research on the behavioral aspects of health. The CHB Seminar Series is part of the Center's efforts to promote health-and-behavior research on campus, and to strengthen collaborations across campus. This series is free and open to all.

All talks will take place from 8:30am to 9:30am in the Peter Graham Scholarly Commons, located on the first floor of Bird Library.

Announcing the 8th Annual CHB Lecture - Professor Nicholas Christakis on Monday, April 12 at 4 pm in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium.
The broad topic of the Lecture will be "Social Networks and Health." Nicholas A. Christakis, MD, PhD, MPH, is an internist and social scientist who conducts research on social factors that affect health, health care, and longevity.

Rebecca Bostwick has agreed to serve as the first Deputy Director of the Center.

7/17/2009 - The Center for Health and Behavior is moving to new offices.
The Center has been assigned 7000 sf of new space at 716 Washington Street. This location will provide a unique setting for community-based health research projects.
