Welcome to The Adult Cognition Lab at Syracuse University. The main goal of this research laboratory is to understand the acquisition, retention, and utilization of information, and how these aspects of cognition are affected by normal aging.

Current projects in the lab focus on the acquisition and retention of cognitive skills, on cognitive control and visual selective attention, and on cognitive expertise. Several of these projects are sponsored by a research grant from the National Institute on Aging. The lab is located in 457 Huntington Hall.
